Home Owners

Green Circle Ratings Ltd aims to provide the most efficient and cost effective service to home owners who require building energy ratings (BERs).

Our standard prices for ratings of existing homes in Dublin, Kildare, Meath and Wicklow are as follows:

Our BER assessors are experienced building industry personnel, fully qualified to carry out BERs and registered with Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI). They are personable individuals who consistently meet their obligations to keep appointments on time and deliver ratings promptly.

Our BER assessors are based throughout the Dublin region. They are always within easy reach of your home or premises in Dublin, Kildare, Meath and Wicklow.

We will carry out BER assessments on weekday evenings or on Saturdays, if this suits you or your tenants.

Our resourceful administrative team ensures that orders are taken, appointments scheduled and payments processed with exceptional efficiently.

When you order a rating from us, we will make an appointment to visit the occupant of the dwelling to carry out a BER assessment. Using the data collected on that visit, we prepare a rating and advisory report in accordance with the requirements of Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI). Then, our BER assessor will access SEAI’s computer systems to submit the rating online to the national register of BERs. SEAI issue a BER Certificate to our BER assessor.

Green Circle’s prices before discounts include Registration fees of €25 payable to the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) as well as VAT. The breakdown of our standard prices is as follows:

Home owners in Ireland who wish to sell a dwelling are required by law (with a very few exceptions which are listed on our FAQ page) to provide prospective purchasers with a Building Energy Rating (BER) Certificate. Similarly, home owners who wish to let a dwelling in Ireland must provide prospective tenants with a BER Certificate. Only BER assessors who have been registered in accordance with the relevant legislation can carry out a BER. All of our assessors have been fully trained in accordance with the requirements of the relevant legislation.
